This presentation will review the 11 disability categories that qualify student for special education services and the common medical disabilities that are associated with each category. The review of each will include common symptoms, associated educational concerns, and helpful tips or strategies to be used in the educational setting. A majority of the session will be focused on the categories most commonly serviced in a traditional Resource Room setting; however, all 11 disability categories will be discussed.
